Kevin Nellis, MS, MT(ASCP), is a Public Health Analyst for the Division of Education and Development at the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Mr. Nellis received his BS in Medical Technology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. He earned his MS in Applied Management from the University of Maryland University College. Prior to joining OHRP, Mr. Nellis served in key clinical-research management positions at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Maryland Medical System, and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Kevin joined the OHRP in 2006 where he provides the research community with guidance regarding the HHS regulations for the protection of human subjects (45 CFR 46) through public speaking engagements and quality improvement activities.
