• Diagnosing and repairing hardware faults on machines received in the service centre.
• Visiting education establishments to diagnose and repair hardware faults, sometimes as part of an escalation.
• Hardware and software trouble-shooting for customers who contact us with a set of fault symptoms that could either be software or hardware at that stage.
• Logging and progression of customer support calls via telephone, email and online support.

• Creating and maintaining processes and part screening documentation for the Hardware Support team. This is to assist colleagues in the correct logging and part screening of calls.
• Technically screening (adding parts to) hardware support calls for onsite visits.
• Supporting hardware on desktops and notebooks both within RM and externally.
• Second line support for first / second line support teams, point of escalation for desktop hardware / peripherals faults.
• Warranty call logging with third party repair agents.
• Supporting monitors, printers, whiteboards and projectors both internally and externally.
• Assembling, building, testing and packing computers to ISO9001 standards.
