After winning 2nd place (out of 70 top schools) at a national MBA business plan competition in 2005, Kelly saw a need for more networking opportunities for women entrepreneurs and then created Startup Princess. Previous to Startup Princess Kelly completed a master's degree in Children's Theatre with an emphasis in the educational benefits of pretend play and literacy, She also is one of 3 trustees in the non-profit organization, One Heart Bulgaria, a 501c(3) that benefits Bulgarian orphans; http://www.oneheart-bg.org
