Beginning September 1st, 1978, while still a student, I accepted a half-time temporary hourly position with Metro State.
In early 1979 I applied for and was hired in April 1979 into the full-time "Electronic Specialist A" position at Metro State. While employed for Metro I have received two promotional opportunities; "Electronic Specialist B", then skipping one level to "Principal Electronic Specialist". The state classified system has renamed the latter first to "Telcom/Electronic Specialist IV" then to the current title of "Electronic Specialist IV".
