Jyrki Huusko’s Summary

Team leader in Seamless Networking research team at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. Project manager and research scientist. Graduated from University of Oulu, major in theoretical physics and minors in information technology and mathematics. I have been with VTT since 1998 and my past research topics have varied from distributed computing and lowly parallel cluster computing to 3G, WiMAX and WiFi medium access and link control mechanisms. Currently I am working with future autonomic network and service architectures, cross-layer aided adaptive multimedia transmission, and next generation IP networking. During my career at VTT, I have participated in several international research projects, such as IST WIND-FLEX, IST FutureHome, IST PHOENIX (WP leader), IST BIONETS (WP leader), IST WEIRD, and domestic contract research projects.
