With Ariel McNichol, I am the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of mEgo (www.mego.com) a first-of-its-kind portable multimedia profile that allows users to share interactive, dynamic and highly personalized visual representations of
themselves.
mEgo takes a user’s personal content and profile data that is scattered around the web, and wraps it into a sophisticated, personalized and highly functional container that can be viewed on any social network, and soon, many mobile devices.
mEgo solves the problem of having to maintain different profiles on each social network that a user belongs to. Instead, a user has a mEgo, incorporating profile information, favorite feeds, content and widgets (YouTube videos, Twitter tweets, Flickr pics, Amazon.com, wish lists, Friends/Notes/News from Facebook
/ MySpace / Hi5, etc. any RSS feed, etc) and then posts it to their social networking pages, sites and blogs. When something changes, a user updates his mEgo at a single site (mEgo.com) or the origin of feed data, and the mEgo is automatically updated wherever it has been posted
