  Julia Carroll, BFA, MA, Post-Graduate Art Therapy Certification, Ph.D. (candidate in Holistic Wellness) and the ChildARTherapy Association serves individuals and groups who have had the trauma of abuse during childhood. We provide art therapy, play therapy, music and motion, stress management techniques and gentle touch therapies. Patterned and repetitive activities support building resilience for moving through and overcoming traumas. Parents are welcome as "co-therapists" to observe and/or participate. Information is offered as to how creative arts positively impact the cortical, limbic and brainstem systems to promote health and well-being. Adjunct Professor Carroll teaches art therapy and behavioral science at the University of Houston, Texas.   Reiki Master Julia Carroll, M.A., Ph.D. (abd), Post-Grad Art Therapy Degree, Pastoral Counseling Certification - is the Founder & Director of the Reiki Touch Institute of Holistic Medicine and has authored several books on Reiki Touch, beginning in 1988. Julia also founded NU-REIKI, which combines many lineage symbols and information to provide infinite power and profound healings. NU-REIKI promotes understanding and a "Oneness" in the Reiki communities. Her seminars are designed for the serious student as concentration and mindful-participation is required.
