I'm interested in what it takes to cure a disease.
During my freshman year of college I was diagnosed with a tumor in my head called chordoma - an uncommon cancer of the skull and spine that can affect people of all ages. Unwilling to accept the limited treatment options currently available, I co-founded the Chordoma Foundation to rapidly develop effective treatments and ultimately a cure for this disease. The Chordoma Foundation takes a holistic approach to problem of curing chordoma - initiating, facilitating, and funding a wide range of projects that fit logically into a coordinated research effort.
