Consulting and business development in digital publishing and solar thermal power generation and thermochemistry.

In the digital publishing industry, I have a quite diverse portfolio which includes, as a partial list: pioneering ebook publisher, format standards developer (notably a primary technical contributor to the new IDFP "ePub" format), business startups and development, and founding and nurturing a number of online digital publishing communities. This diversity provides a unique and holistic perspective on the digital pubishing ecosystem.

I am one of only a few long-time technical contributors to the IDPF ebook specifications (culminating in the recent release of "ePub"), and so I have intimate knowledge not only of the intricacies of the "ePub" ebook format, but the underlying reasons for its design. I provide "ePub" consulting to both publishers and applications developers.

In a strange twist, best seen looking at my past experience, I am also resuming alternate energy consulting and business development, primarily in concentrating solar power (CSP) technologies for power generation and driving thermochemical processes for which I have extensive experience.
