    Developed a content platform for cataloging and monetizing new media. Pioneered business, web 2.0, and social media solutions for corporations via podcasting. Build initial blue chip client base to over 40 companies with top clients billing over $3m per year in social media solutions. Raised $7.5 million in venture capital. PodTech pioneered Web 2.0 online advertising video products in viral social media.

    Removed as CEO by the board of directors over a disagreement on strategy. Company transitioned from a media platform to a video production company and was sold to LA firm in 2008.

    Joined in 1999 from competitor where I was the founder. Hired by CEO Keith Teare to run the product group which handled all product mangement and marketing for their naming, search and navigation infrastructure including the paid search products. Managed keyword product plan that had over 70% global reach on the Internet.

    Responsible for managing the product plan for the emering paid search keyword products for Google and Microsoft. Interfaced with Google, Microsoft, and many other search vendors. Additionally was responsibile for working with the CEO to formulate the International naming plans around International Domain Names. Interfaced with ICANN for three years.

    September 1996September 1999 (3 years 1 month)

    Pioneered the paid keyword business by building a search, navigation, and retrievial system for the Internet. Company shut down in 1999 and rolled into RealNames a competitor at the time.

    Labrador built a keyword resolver and secured the top online advertising agencies. Company negotiated directly with Netscape and Microsft browser and portal teams on integrating as a solution for their browsers and search engines. The company also developed and sold an enterprise version. The company shut down on insufficient capital while GoTo.com and Realnames were heavily venture backed.

    Labrador was year early pioneer in 1996 on the product solution which is now known as keyword marketing (adwords, adsense, and SEM/SEO)

    Over 8 years rose up through the ranks of HP's product, field, and sales organization starting as a technical developer and finishing there as an executive sales manager with a $50 million dollar quota.

    When I joined HP in 1988 the company sales were $8b and when I left was >$36b. I was part of the original (small) channel group that drove the massive growth in revenue from computer products which included printers, pcs, intel servers, storage, among other indirect channel products.
