As Head of Security:Security Analysis of Middle East,risk assessments,writing & implementing policies including running the Security Team, compiling the Operating Procedures, doing Threat Assessments, Risk Analysis for the Shuweihat Power & Water Desalination Plant, a flagship project in the U.A.E, and The Western Region of the UAE, running simulated exercises (penetration scenarios, both land and sea based).
Duties included daily and weekly overseeing of visitors to the Plant, compiling of weekly Security rosters and maintaining a fitness program for all guards. Reporting Operational status of guards and Security measures/deterrents to the Shared Facilities Manager.
Before joining the private sector I was employed by the South African Military as an instructor for conventional & unconventional warfare, weapons (platoon & foreign) instructor, VIP instructor, PT, Drill, Survival, Counter Insurgency Instructor ( Anti – Terrorist training), Urban and Rural warfare, House Penetration instructor.
