ACHIEVEMENTS
• Spearheaded a yearlong project to shift from individual to consolidated billing of wireless devices. This saved money by not only by allowing us to leverage and control wireless costs, but eliminated the need for costly T&E processing of individual bills.
• Created and implemented requisitions processes which resulted in efficient processing, while repurposing valuable equipment. This provided a reduction in purchasing and a savings to the capital budgets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managed capital technology requisitions and wireless programs for entire organization. Directly managed 6 employees.
• Utilized project management skills to improve requisitions processes to ensure requests were fulfilled on time and within budget. Instituted cost saving measures such as need screening and equipment re purposing.
• Managed wireless programs, supporting organizations mobile handheld needs.
• Promoted a positive client service environment which moved our team from one that was distrusted to a valued and trusted part of the organization.
• Participated in many volunteer and inclusion efforts in the organization which helped promote not only organizational goals, but healthier work environments.
• Gained crucial organizational communications skills which not only enabled me to "speak" the language of the varied business units, but allowed me to directly communicate with senior management. This also allowed me to become a trusted advisor when the need arose.
• Provided inspirational leadership to my team members by including them in all aspects of the process and encouraging them to stretch beyond their current responsibilities. Close work and training were encouraged to support this.
