My previous work and research experience has been in the fields of HIV/AIDS prevention, substance abuse, and rural/agricultural health care. I have experience in health education, program administration, and program monitoring and evaluation (including both qualitative and quantitative data analysis). I have worked in both rural and urban environments, and with populations from a variety of cultural backgrounds. My goal in program design is to adapt as closely as possible the programs I have worked with to the specific cultural needs of the target population.
