After 20 years on the front lines as a social worker helping to run nonprofit organizations, I went back to film school to pursue one of my life long passions- documentary film making.
My first film, “Where’s Herbie” is an award winning portrait of a 91-year-old working lobsterman who shares his philosophy on life, death, and the risks of retirement.
I am currently traveling the film festival circuit and speaking circuit to promote my current film, "Kick Like a Girl," an award-winning documentary about hopes, dreams and possibilities - and a tenacious team of 8-year-old girls who, 35 years after Title IX, are still breaking new ground.
