Entrepreneur and small business enthusiast. I am particularly interested in how businesses can leverage IT solutions to meet their needs.
I came to love the flexibility and power of open-source software and Linux while as a student working in bioinformatics. From SunOS3 to HP-UX to Linux, I've managed departmental email, file sharing and other services. I soon realized that there was a world of untapped, low-cost software out there that could be a boon for small business.
I founded rackAID in 2003 to help small and startup businesses leverage the cost savings brought about by the introduction of the un-manged dedicated server market.
I love when we help clients find the right technology to meet their business needs and budget. We hope to continue to grow rackAID to become the best single-stop IT consulting show for people in the web hosting industry or using online technologies as a key part of their business.
I've a couple a key goals for rackAID and myself. First for rackAID is to become and enabler of technology by helping companies fully exploit the power that the internet has to offer. Second, I want to work with small businesses, both online and off, to help them realize their full potential.
