In the course of a diverse 21 year career covering virtually all aspects of developing, financing, operating, marketing and selling a company, Jeff Mucci has proven to be a skilled executive, visionary entrepreneur and adroit troubleshooter and turnaround expert. He has served as President and COO of a diversified holding company with interest in real estate, energy services and broadband IP communications; President of a facilities based CLEC; SVP Sales and Marketing for a Goldman Sachs backed industry leading broadband wireless service company, Clearwire; and secured $ 225 million of debt and equity as Chairman and CEO of ConnectSouth, a regional DSL company backed by Morgan Stanley, Nautic Partners and Spire Capital.
Jeff has managed a $ 100 million business with hundreds of employees, salvaged a floundering energy service company, recapitalized a luxury real estate golf community, and sold a telephone company to major cable operator. In an eighteen month period, he successfully secured $ 24 million of financing, staffed over 125 employees and drove top line revenue to over $ 6 million as President of LEC Unwired. Throughout his career, he has been tapped to turnaround troubled situations, launch new products and companies, apply software technologies to streamline operations and even sent to Hong Kong to evaluate a joint venture with the city’s largest office building owner – Hongkong Land, a member of the Jardine Matheson Group.
Jeff has a B.S. in Financial Management from Clemson University, lives in Austin with his wife of 11 years, Kelley and their 5 year old daughter, Isabella and 3 year old son, Lorenzo. He is a First Tee Austin Board member, actively involved in fundraising for the KIPP School Austin, and on Good Shepherd Episcopal Church’s Adult Education task force.
