From local to international experiences throughout my career, I have been focusing on a wide array of visual communication design that span from corporate presentation work, to identity systems, package design, brochure design, and web design. With a strong background in the Macro/Micro aesthetics in typography, one of my goals is to focus on strengthening new methods of concepting through non traditional ways.
I am a conceptual & visual expert in print & interactive marketing and web design who provides project level visual expertise to the creative team. As a leader with a good understanding of business strategy and how design can be integrated in the design process, I am able to generate maximum marketing impact. In addition, I help manage my team in regards to design, quality control, resources, timeline, budget, design critiques, and establishing and implementing design directions. I offer advanced design knowledge, presentation skills, great leadership and interpersonal skills.

“Adopta una a Familia” is a link between 28 families living in substandard housing and the entire congregation in Branford. Here in Guayaquil, we built 28 bathrooms with septic systems, toilets, sinks and showers. We also poured cement floors in all of the homes and did roof and wall repair.

The Visual Communication Design (VCD) major involves the development of visual language systems for communication. The VCD department emphasizes practice, theory, methodology, and history, which are the foundations of the discipline. Students learn that the visual products of design are a conscious integration of the human factor with technology and aesthetics. The faculty encourages students to become designers who function as interpreters of human communication in a social context. This requires not only specific vocational tasks but also critical thinking and intellectual flexibility. Toward this goal, the program is intended to provide a broad educational background within a professional context.
Adding to this professional context, the VCD department also houses a professional design firm, Civic Design. It was established in 2001 serving Hartford area clients. The firm’s reputation has grown receiving regional press coverage and by winning professional design awards.
