Instead of installing an expensive token server with the hassle of distributing and maintening tokens to employees, including the intense server- and token maintenance it requires, we use a 256 bit encrypted SMS-modem that sends a secure flash sms to the employee who wants to login to the company's secure computer system. For 4,5 years I served as the Belgian country manager of Norman ASA. I served under the VAT-number of the Dutch company, "Norman/SHARK! bv." in the Netherlands. At the end of 2006 negotiations started to set up Norman Belgium or to become a distributor of Norman. I choose for the second option, since I was interested to be a distributor for GFI (www.gfi.com) in Belgium as well.

On 1 July 2007 CHERUB, my company, took over all activities of Norman in Belgium, including all the customers and the administration.

Norman is well known for its antivirus software NORMAN VIRUS CONTROL with about 20 million users worldwide, but mostly in Europe. Further on Norman has its Norman Personal Firewall and its encryption software. All three programs are bundled in the "Norman Security Suite".

Norman is also specialized in DATA RECOVERY, DATA ERASURE and COMPUTER FORENSICS.

In January of 1997 I was introduced to the Norman company, my present work. I started using "Thunderbyte antivirus" (the forerunner or Norman Virus Control) as my favorite antivirus program and I started advising this software to friends. Later on I was asked to become a reseller, what I did as a second income. This ended in October 2002, when I was invited by Norman to become the director of Norman Belgium. Officially my company 'the challenge' stopped with its actvities for Norman when I was able to start Norman Belgium officially in January of 2003.
