Jayne Pearl’s Summary

I've been a business/financial writer and editor for the past 29 years and am author of the book, "Kids and Money: Giving Them the Savvy to Succeed Financially" (Bloomberg Press) and co-author of "Keep Or Sell Your Business" (Dearborn Trade).

My newest book, "Kids, Wealth and Consequences:Ensuring a Responsible Financial Future for the Next Generation," (with co-author Rich Morris) will be published by Bloomberg Press in the winter of 2009/2010.

Previous experience includes working for four years with Tom Peters (co-author of "In Search of Excellence" and other bestsellers), and co-launching Family Business magazine, to which I continue to contribute.

My "How to Gimme-Proof Your Kids" workshops, based on my "Kids and Money" book take me all over the country. Rich Morris and I are also developing a new workshop series, for high net worth parents, based on our forthcoming book.

Jayne Pearl’s Specialties:

I have written about everything from corporate and personal finance, real estate, banking, technology, entrepreneurship, family business, organizational dynamics, the economy to management, marketing and HR -- and more. Other experience includes a fair amount of developmental editing and ghost writing. A fairly new endeavor is fiction writing. I current have 2 novel manuscripts in first draft form, and look forward to finishing revisions on one if not both this year.
