But my favorite work has always been in medical device quality assurance. I am a firm believer that there are only temporary conflicts between regulations, quality systems, and business objectives. All three oft-competing objectives can be focused on one thing with the right approach and effort: customer satisfaction and company profits. They are not mutually exclusive goals. So I enjoy applying quality system theory and regulations in a practical manner to cost-effectively meet business requirements and exceed the customer's expectations.
