After developing fail over techniques for their environment I was responsible for the transferring of techniques and procedures to DBA staff on Data Guard and their particular implementation. It was also my responsibility to provide guidance to the DBA staff on a daily basis for any situation of database maintenance and performance that might arise.

Oversaw this product from design through development & test, and into production. For the proper rollout of this product, I was responsible for interacting with C-level corporate employees to validate corporate direction and maintain constant interaction with offshore developers so that all deadlines would be met. It was also my responsibility to evaluate the database usage patterns for CreekPaths current application offerings and provide guidance in all areas of database performance and application design so as to determine how they could maintain appropriate SLAs to customer base. Redesigned multiple database structures and provided alternative application techniques that augmented the current design to provide transaction rates of 500,000 inserts per 15 minutes with a three month retention cycle.
