Design Research Project: INTERFACE FOR PORTABLE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER WITH MULTI-TOUCH TECHNOLOGY
• ABSTRACT
In face of the growing production of digital media, the necessity of the user to organize and rapidly and easily access these files, and the rise of mobile technology, by the spreading of devices that store this type of data, we perceived an opportunity for a project focused on the study of interfaces for mobile devices. A characteristic of these devices is the tendency for multi-touch technology application. In this context, this design project proposes the development of an interface for a portable entertainment center, which will use multi-touch screen technology to allow for a more intuitive and fluid interaction. This interface seeks the best organization and access to digital media files, applied to a portable device, hoping to provide satisfactory navigation in spite of its reduced size.
