As an editor for Nederlab, I manage and curate the database and data for the project. Furthermore I supervise interns and test new software.
I work at the Nederlab project, a website that will allow researchers to search through digitized works from various providers such as the DBNL and the Royal Library. My activities contain data curation, editing and supervising interns. Aside from this I also work a small percentage of my time at the DBNL on the e-book project as a continuation of my previous job.
My activities include quality checking of OCR, editing XML files to prepare them for publication on both the website and as e-book, quality checking e-books (both technical and editorial) and supervising an intern.
My part-time job while at university. Activities: preparing mail for delivery, delivering mail, delivering and processing registered mail, training new employees and overseeing and managing the preparation process.
I provide XML tags on prints of magazines so that these can be digitized correctly.
Checking and editing XML files of magazines for publication on the website, updating author and book databases
I edited the church's bi-monthly magazine and prepared both the content and the layout for publication.
Type out documents, handle incoming and outgoing phone calls, archiving old documents.
