I'm a web application developer with experience in wide variety of technologies. Ruby on Rails is my pièce de résistance, but I have also worked on Django, PHP and Java projects. I breathe functional programming, so JavaScript is one of my favorite languages. Back-end JavaScript seems like a very tempting idea. Recently I have begun several personal projects in Haskell.
I'm also a fairly experienced Linux administrator (Gentoo, Debian, Fedora, CentOS) with a bit of experience in admining a Windows domain as well.
To balance the practical programming side of software development, I have completed numerous courses in different aspects of theoretical computer science as well as studies in software engineering, including software modeling, architectural patterns and software development processes.
In addition to my technical skills I have started augmenting my field of know-how towards management and marketing skills through extended minor studies in Industrial Engineering.
Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Python, Django, Unobtrusive JavaScript, Java, PHP, Haskell, (My/Postgre)SQL, (X)HTML, XML, CSS, Linux.
