Chief Procurement Officer, led the decrease of the Group Purchasing Spend (€ 1,5 b. for € 2,2 b. of turn-over ; 70 purchasers ; 35 mills on 3 continents, Paper industrie), Paris.
• Led a Transformation Plan to reduce purchasing spend versus sales. Adapted R&D and mills organizations, defined new processes => globalize 100 % of the spend
• Delivered quick savings, Optimized working capital, cash management, reduced the debt
• Boost the Value => acquisition of one supplier, negotiation of a JV with another
• Raw material (€ 1,1 b ; chemicals, pulp, waste papers, energy, transport, …) : reduced and hedged the budget, defined worldwide strategies, led an intensive Technical & Purchasing saving plan
=> saving upper € 100 M
• Non Production Purchase (€ 400 M ; SC, IT, marketing, packaging) : managed at local or global level, generated saving thanks to globalization and the cost-killing program => saving upper 11 M€
• Implemented best of breed practices (e-auctions, score cards, Collaborative approach with Preferred Suppliers). Managed and trained 70 dedicated sourcing experts

• Restructured an under performing department : optimization of the organization and management per objectives => reach current targets (prices and cost, deliveries and quality)
• Improved technical and purchasing efficiency and found alternatives to traditional suppliers => optimization of methods and specifications, selection of “LCCS” suppliers

Purchasing China Business Manager, responsible of the PSA Purchasing Team working for the PSA/DFM Joint-Venture in China. PSA PEUGEOT CITROEN, France and China.
• Put in place the purchasing organization of the JV while tripling the sales and launching 4 new models. Managed the support team of 17 PSA purchasers. Implemented processes and training plan
• Reduced the purchasing prices => local content upper 80 %, budgets divided by 2
• Implemented the Purchasing and Quality Strategies. Rebuilt the panel => selection of 300 suppliers
• Worked with the PSA suppliers’ network on improving worldwide relationships. Triggered new opportunities for the PSA global sourcing strategy
