Gerstman+Meyers, Brand Identity and Design Consultants (now Interbrand) started in 1970 with partner, Richard Gerstman, and a staff of three. Gerstman+Meyers grew to become one of the leading international, brand identity and package design consultancies with a staff of 55 professionals, serving a global corporate "Fortune 500" clientele. Personally helped manage major brand identity and package design programs for such companies as Ralston-Purina, M&M Mars, Heinz, Black & Decker, Farberware. Kodak, McNeil, Pfizer, Maxell, Hannaford Supermarket, Onni Hotels, and many other.
Also served as President of Global Design Network (GDN, Ltd.). a subsidiary of Gerstman+Meyers (1983-98), one of the first Brand Identity and Design consulting entities servicing international corporate clients in affiliation with design consulting firms in Switzerland, Brazil and Canada. Clients included BASF and Bayer AG (Germany), Ciba Pharmaceuticals and Camille Bloch Chocolates (Switzerland), Brahma (Brazil) and Cooper (Canada), among other.
