Third Ear Recordings' music output is best summarized as 'music made primarily but not exclusively with computers, synthesisers and turntables. A fundamental ethos is also, that quality cutting edge music can be commercially successful.

To date, I have nurtured and brought to international attention, the Beatdown sound of Detroit; essentially more representative of the Detroit electronic sound than Detroit Techno, which is more marginal within the city itself. The Beatdown sound includes Soul, Funk, House and Techno in all their forms.

I conceived and executed probably the biggest selling underground dance music record of the last few years; Carl Craig's remix of Theo Parrish's 'Falling Up'.

In 2007 Third Ear Recordings was listed by Resident Advisor as one of the top ten UK dance labels to watch.

I have experience in digital distribution systems and markets, particularly the UK and Japan. I have planned and implemented content procurement and management for mobile networks in Japan.
