Gerald is currently working at the MITRE Corporation as a Lead Systems Engineer. Gerald worked as a pre-sales technical consultant for Sun Germany with a focus on complex interoperability problems and large systems deployments. In this role he was instrumental in success of many large sales projects of more than USD 5 Million.
He holds a Master of Science degree in theoretical physics.

- Directed the creation of new lab facilities for more than 200 small and mid-range servers, in support of expanded research. This included managerial responsibility for the lab staff.
