I founded Flock in Feb. 2005 with a couple of friends and helped to grow the company from 2 to >30 people. Throughout my time there, I acted as VP of Marketing, VP of Business Development, and eventually Chief Strategy Officer.
While at Flock I:
- Helped to close 3 rounds of venture capital from top-tier venture firms and well-known angels
- Named the company and worked on much of the early marketing and branding strategy
- Helped to define product features and requiredments
- Closed several major distribution deals (and many smaller ones :)
- Recruited top talent into the organization
I remain deeply committed to the organization and continue to advise the company in my new role at Bessemer.
