Genevieve is a creative catalyst who places herself at the convergence of the arts, technology and the urban environment. As principal and co-founder of Cultural Entrepreneurs, she provides strategic vision and planning to pioneering community ventures. Her work is characterized by a focus on delivering innovative solutions, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community engagement.
Genevieve's current research, educational and curatorial efforts are centered around trailblazing creatives and other interdisciplinary thinkers who are redefining culture, community and the urban environment through inventive applications of social, mobile, mapping, navigational and gaming technologies.
She was appointed to the Bellevue Arts Commission in 2006 and is currently engaged in the City's public art, cultural development and urban planning initiatives. Genevieve is also enrolled in the University of Washington's interdisciplinary certificate program in Commercial Real Estate Development, where she is working to drive the development of sustainable cultural assets.
Genevieve’s past professional work has included award-winning art direction, graphic design for print, broadcast, interactive media, and retail advertising, as well as her work as a generative artist and educator. She has executed several art residencies in Seattle and Bellevue Schools and has received more than 30 local and national grants to implement her programs integrating art and technology.
