  My role involves gathering requirements from clients, installation and configuration, and implement customizations and integration with client portals of an application called DARSWeb. DARSWeb was written in Java using Spring Framework, JSP, Servlets, and Hibernate. It provides students and advisors the ability to generate audits to determine credits needed for graduation.
  
  In addition, I developed two web applications. BARS (Batch Audit and Reporting System) application allows advisors to submit a batch of student audits based on selected criteria letting advisors to run batches immediately, scheduled, and share results with other users. The Course Equivalency Guide allows students to view how courses will evaluate from one institution to another. Both applications were written in Java using Spring, Oracle, JSP, and Dojo.
  
  Other responsibilities include creating Unix scripts needed to automate processes between their legacy SIS (Student Information Systems) system and DARS.

  As Senior Web Developer, I was responsible for development, architect, and team lead of Web-enabled systems. We developed a Content Management System, Digital Management System, 17 magazine websites, an electronic brochure system, and a reporting systems used by executives that analyzed and provided trends of competing magazines. A Swing application was created to transfer of large amounts of images to servers for use of the websites.
  
  I also served as database administrator. My duties included maintenance, performance tuning, consolidations, scheduled backups, upgrades, creation of store procedures and functions, assist developers with complex SQL queries and optimizations, and other functions.

  I converted a suite of applications that complemented Business Planning and Control Software (BPCS). It is a comprehensive set of integrated applications addressing the core system needs of industrial sector enterprises on a global scale. I was also responsible to convert the application on both platforms from 16-bit to 32-bits and developed a series of conversion tools to ease the migration at client sites.
  
  I also designed, developed, and delivered a multi-tiered Order Entry System. It also included an interface to transfer orders stored on a Microsoft SQL database to the AS/400 using ODBC. Management reports were created using Crystal Reports and Access.
  
  Lead a team converting RPG/400 programs to AS/SET utilizing an RPG to AS/SET reverse engineering tool. My responsibility included technical reviews, technical support for staff and project status reporting to management. I was the liaison between “AS/SET Basing” team and the SSA.
