I worked mostly in the energy storage system division.
-Making hardware for the connection and packaging of lithium-ion cells in the battery.
-Testing various elements of pack cooling, thermal runaway suppression, the auxiliary power supply, and water ingress.
-Building the first 10 pre-production battery packs on the factory floor in Asia.
-Designing tooling for automation of battery module cladding for dimensional stability.

I worked in a variety of areas of the business as a college student at various times over several years. I did mold making, fiberglass work, mechanical assembly, mechanical testing to failure. Swimming with animatronic swordfish. Developed the process and created roughly 100 expanded foam Swordfish carcasses in one week. I worked on projects for Free Willy II and III, Zeus and Roxanne, Anaconda, and The Perfect Storm.

CNC machinist. Learned programming in G-code. Machine Setup. Part design, fabrication and assembly. Built an interactive trade show booth. Learned to Tig Weld aluminum and steel. Designed hydraulic shocks. Tested front forks for stiffness and fatigue and redesigned for strength. Worked on a fully hydraulic drive bicycle. Placed second in a tandem downhill mountain bike race. Did phone support and sales.
