The e-card will replace Austria's current paper-based healthcare vouchers and approx. 11 million cards will be issued. The cost of the total e-card project is estimated to be EUR 116 million.
--Project: Multi-application Corporate ID Card , Boeing Corporation, USA ,2003
Boeing Corporation launched a multi-app smart ID card scheme (200,000 cards to staff globally)
--Project: Electronic National ID Card, Macau SAR, China, 2001, 2002
Bell ID implemented the ANDiS© Card and Application Management System (CMS/AMS) for the Government of the former Portuguese colony Macau, China.
2003: Larry Linden Award for Innovative Security Technology, awarded to Siemens Business Services and Giesecke & Devrient by CardTech/SecurTech

From 2006 until 2008 I was Treasurer at TC Schiebroek, a tennis club in Rotterdam. Since 2008 I am Secretary and main points of attention are getting more funding such as sponsorships and subsidies as well as creating plans to set up a completely new 12-court tennis park with clubhouse.

Since January 2009 I am Treasurer at Roots4Kids, an organisation running an orphanage in Camroon.

Have been actively involved in the Systems Committee of this organisation related to the smart card industry working together with people from fellow members such as Mastercard, Visa, IBM and Gemplus.
One of the activities was related to writing an RFP for test tools to test smart card management systems for GP compliance.
