As president and CEO of Morningstar Communications, a strategic integrated communications firm, we provide our clients with leadership, marketing and communications to help them grow.
I have more than 30-years experience and expertise as a strategic integrated communications professional and I’m proud to work with several industry leaders, including Verizon Wireless, Hallmark Business Expressions, Panera, KCADC, and Stinson Morrison Hecker.
I speak frequently as a keynote on topics including attraction marketing, crisis communications, social media, building your personal brand and our cornerstone marketing philosophy – Think Excellence, Not DifferenceTM.
I’ve spoken at industry leading companies, including Verizon Wireless, Time Warner Cable, Cerner Corporation, Burns & McDonnell, American Identity and Argus HealthCare. I have presented to prestigious organizations including Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Counselors Academy and the International Conference, International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), DRI, the American Marketing Association and the Philanthropy Midwest Conference.
In addition, I serve as a meeting facilitator and presentation coach. Numerous clients have benefited from my executive presentation coaching, which includes a slide-by-slide critique on the content, style and delivery of a persuasive presentation.
Giving back to the community is a top priority for me and I volunteer on The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Professional Advisory Board for the University of Kansas Master's Program in Integrated Marketing Communications.
