Test Engineer and RFIC Design Engineer
RFIC Design Engineer:
Numerous strategic, stringent, and highly visible RFIC GaAs semiconductor integrated circuit pHEMT switch and attenuator design wins.
Software and CAD Tools:
Agilent ADS
Momentum RF
Sonnet
Ansoft HFSS
Microwave Office
MATLAB
Entire Microsoft Office Product Suite
Visual Basic
AutoCAD
JMP
Test Engineer:
Implemented a comprehensive and extensive automated RFIC test/characterization/analysis process used by laboratory technicians and all the engineers in the Skyworks Analog Components Business Unit for RF device measurement during design process and for complete device pre-production characterization.
Software:
LabVIEW
MATLAB
Visual Basic
Microsoft Office Suite
JMP
RF Characterization Tests:
Small Signal (S-Parameters, 1 to 8 port devices)
P1dB
IP3/IP2
Harmonics
IMD
Switching Speed
Error Vector Magnitude
Composite Triple Beat
DC Parametric Tests
All test programs vary bias voltage, DUT state, DUT temperature, incident RF power (if applicable), VSWR (and relative load phase, if applicable) and are configurable based on number of DUT RF ports as well as bias/control interface (Serial to Parallel Interface, parallel, etc...), SPI clock frequency, (and numerous other paramters that I can't remember right now...) and record all data automatically for individual device characterization as well as population statistical analysis over all test conditions and varied parameters.
