The majority of my experience is in the manufacturing, fabrication, operations and sales/marketing environment. I have supervised and managed manufacturing, fabrication, machine shop and maintenance departments in small and large facilities including paper mill and manufacturing companies. I have worked in machining, stampings, welding, fabricating, parts assembly and painting areas for over 15 years.
I worked in the Paper Industry for over 13 years. I was a Paper mill engineer and a Senior Paper mill engineer for James River in Green Bay, WI. I was a Maintenance Superintendent for Niagara Paper Mill in Niagara, WI. I was Director of Engineering and Maintenance overseeing all maintenance, Engineering and Power Plant functions for Flambeau Paper in Park Falls, WI. I was Plant Engineer managing all maintenance and Power Plant functions at Fort Howard in Green Bay, WI.
I managed construction departments and projects including new buildings at paper mills and distribution plants, new paper machine installations, paper machine rebuilds, power plant expansions (turbines, boilers), and pulp mill renovations.
I have extensive bottom line experience including being President of a company for over 3 years.
I have experience with purchasing and materials management including large warehouse distribution systems.
I am computer literate and very willing to learn new features and programs.
I have worked with and across all higher-level management lines. I have worked in union environments in small and large facilities including numerous contract negotiations.
I have travel experience in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe. This includes setting up sister companies and partnerships overseas.
I have extensive supervisory and management skills including hiring/recruiting, training, planning, scheduling and budgeting. I have developed and worked within small and large budgets including short term and long range forecasts.
