Building better youth, better businesses, and a better South Carolina
Columbia, South Carolina Area
Limited opportunities in job training and employment leave our young people disenfranchised and vulnerable. This vulnerability leads our youth to activities that contribute to a rise in crime. Through a challenge issued to me by the Attorney General Henry McMaster. I am developing Business Leaders Youth Alliance to address the needs of our youth.
I strongly feel that the business community is the key to creating constructive alternatives for our youth. The positive business mentors in my life allowed me to go from wild youth in the music business, to a strong employee, business owner, and ultimately becoming positive member of society. The skills taught to me were sales, customer service, and having a healthy self image. I would not be who I am if it were not for my business mentors giving of themselves.
