  I have conducted research as a Masters student in Costa Rica and Belize on food production and acquisition in rural zones and among indigenous groups. I also participated in a research study in Tampa, FL that sought to identify perceptions of race and ethnicity among health care professionals at two major facilities in the Tampa Bay area.
