The Inventors Club of Kansas City is a club for inventors of all kinds. Our mission is to support the inventing community and to give guidance and support in what ever way we can. We meet monthly from January to October each year usually at the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurship in Kansas City, MO

Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians
October 2008 – Present (6 years)
The SCRT is the only national trade association for the Cleaning and Restoration Industry. We currently have over 400 members nation wide. We support the Carpet and Rug cleaning trade as well as the Structure Restoration industry and all of their adjunct trades.
Blue Valley Sheltered Work Shop
March 1977 – December 1983 (6 years 10 months)
Blue Valley is a sheltered work shop for the develop mentally disabled. We provided services to private companies for packaging and component assembly. The board over saw the daily activity of the shop and its cliental through a hired Executive Director. We approved budgets and applied for grants and public funds from the State of Missouri and Jackson County, MO. During my tenure we planned for and built a new modern facility and opened one of the first shops supporting head injury.

1976 – 2009
I have applied myself to all things educational since High School. Although I did not attend college or graduate school I have continued to self educate myself in many disciplines. I do not read novels or storied unless they are educational or historical in some way so I read to learn and read daily. My hobbies are the study of small business and economics both micro and macro. I have trained in many other disciplines for general knowledge to continue to churn my mind for memes. It is through this action that I am able to help others as well as myself with a flood of new ideas and directions.

Writing, teaching, studying. Spending time with my family and working around the house. Laura and love to travel and we are doing more each year.
- Groups and Associations:
I serve on the Board of Directors for a National Association the Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians. I belong to the Inventors Club of KC.
- Honors and Awards:
I won the 2000 Most Entrepreneurial of the Year Award for the State of Missouri. I won the Berg Award in 1999 from the American Bio Recovery Association. I have been recognized many times for my service to our community as well as other communities within the U.S.
