Matthew Bostdorff’s Summary

I'm currently the network administrator for Van Buren Schools. Helping build an ultra-successful technology program in a local school district has been very rewarding. I believe my talents lie in "seeing the big picture." Identifying a potentially large technological problem and setting goals to resolve the issue and transform the environment into something that is more efficient, cost effective, and delivers greater value.

In a nutshell, I like taking trash and turning it into treasure.

I've utilized my skills in very large corporate settings as well as very small non-profit settings. The environment isn't really the issue. Communicating with the customers, end users, owners, or investors - at a level that they can understand - is the key. I've been described as a "computer nerd, minoring in sales." Technical problems are normally easy to fix by replacing a broken part, upgrading some software, or introducing a new application. The real challenge is helping the key players understand the need and value behind the solution and what will ultimately be their return on investment.
