    Marcos López de Prado is Senior Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners. Mainly the work experience has been developed in the banking, retail and mining industry (as service provider of mining machinery). Academically I have been developing a doctoral thesis based on the field of strategic management, mainly on strategy as a continuous organizational process, studying the relationship between subsidiaries and headquarters in multinational companies. On a more personal aspect I have been systematically training to compete in marathons. This preparation has resulted in a significant advance in my mental as well as physical development with obvious benefits such as perseverance, targets, self-discipline and personal wellbeing.
