Diane Lore’s Summary

As president of Deep South Digital, (www.deepsouthdigital.biz) I lead a consortium of communication professionals bonded by decades of deep media relations and digital common sense. From media training to comprehensive PR programs to one-time "Social Media Road Maps," we work with clients to determine the most efficient use of their communication dollar.

My primary client is Danya International Inc., (www.danya.com), which works on numerous projects with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Other clients include state government, retail and start-up businesses.

As the former VP of Digital Media in Atlanta for Cohn & Wolfe, a global communications firm, I managed digital brand reputation for world leaders in the restaurant and home improvement industries, as well as top pharmaceutical companies.

This dovetails with my previous experience as VP of Media Strategy at The Haystack Group, where I was the editor of www.momseasychair.com and responsible for traditional and digital placements in The Wall Street Journal, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Ladies Home Journal, The Today Show, Univision and a host of other newspapers, television and radio shows and long-lead magazines.

A fourth-generation journalist, I'm familiar with the platforms of media - print, online, television and radio. I've written and edited the news for more than two decades - the last 10 being at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I've covered two international conflicts in the Gulf and Soviet Georgia, garnered more than a dozen national and state awards and completed the Nieman Conference on Narrative Editing at Harvard.

A founding partner of Xpace, LLC, a software development company, I'm also interested in the science and marketing of innovative data warehousing.

Finally, I'm a freelance writer, wife and mother of three, owner of two pound puppies, two parakeets, a mouse and a fish -- and I really try not to take myself too seriously.
