  Designed/layout subdivisions, road projects and bridges for the county (boss was county engineer), survey plats, county building additions.
  
  Favorite part of that position - laying out large developments using the clients land and existing contour maps.

  June 1984 — December 1984 (7 months)

  My job was to draw baffles for the oil industry.. these baffles were drawn full size and taken to the shop to be cut out with a laser cutter. I had a whole wall that was one large drawing board. I left for a job closer to where I lived but it was interesting work!
  
  Most interesting parts of this job? The scale of the work and a hardhat with steel toe boots that I had to put on before going to the cutter.
