My work in the music business for almost twenty years generated platinum selling artists and Grammy winners. I hold both a BS/ Emerson College and an MAT/ Fairleigh Dickenson Univ. I am a teacher of both English and the arts. I have taught in both the public school system and in higher education institutions. I have years of experience in project management, special events planning, public relations and education. My skill set is diverse and yet cohesive. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. I recieved only positive evaluations while at James J. Ferris. I was known for giving students copious feedback on their writing assignments, and use the Peter Elbow 5-point writing process. I incorporated experiential exercises into my lesson plans to increase student engagement. I also used popular culture to reinforce universal themes in classic literature. My MAT thesis was on "Using popular culture to enhance higher order thinking skills."
