I help people's books come true. I provide publishing support to authors, publishers, and companies that produce books to market their business and help them weed through the publishing minefield. I have authored, edited, ghostwritten, and project-managed over 90 (yes ninety) books for both royalty and self-publishers. My bestselling book Self-Publishing 101 is available in bookstores throughout Canada and the United States and on Amazon.
BOOK PUBLISHING 101 PROGRAM
Program guaranteed to improve literacy skills by at least 20 percent
This educational tool has been developed to foster literacy, creativity, and inspire people to develop a love for books and/or writing. It will help them develop pride in literacy and perhaps want to pursue it further.
The Book Publishing 101 Program guides individuals and organizations to create a book individually or as a group project in the workplace, classroom, or resource room. It combats the fear factor for the reluctant writer with user-friendly tools and simple basic tips that will increase literacy skills by at least 20 percent.
It’s for anyone who has ever had an interest in publishing a book. This program also gives organizations, corporations, and schools a way to reach their people as a group project and have fun doing it. It has the potential to empower.
The sense of accomplishment in the teamwork of producing a book will make a difference in an individual’s life. It can help students and disenfranchised persons develop pride in literacy and perhaps want to further pursue more opportunities to improve their lives.
The program's tools include an instructive workbook, the bestselling Self-Publishing 101, audio CD, other motivating books that will give participants courage and guidance to make their book become a reality.
A percentage of the proceeds will also go towards the funding the program for non-profit organizations.

I've been providing full publishing support to independent and self-publishers and through this process, I've come up with three things everyone needs to know:
1. By understanding the publishing process and what's involved, anyone can see and believe in the fact that they, too, can publish a book.
2. You need to do the due diligence in creating a professional product.
3. Every author has to come up with a succinct and ongoing marketing plan.

Classic cars: Oldsmobile Cutlass, 88, and 98 -- I want all of them. I'm driving them until the last one is dead! Music: everything but Techno and Thrash Metal; tend towards hard rock, alternative, and metal. Politics: I'm a bit of a political junkie in that I keep on top of current events, was glued to the Obama-Clinton primary and the 2009 presidential race. Stay on top of Canadian politics, too, seeing how I live there, but U.S. politics is much more interesting.
