Managing Director at Clockwork
Nijmegen Area, Netherlands
After finishing the Business school for Economics and Marketing I started my career in 1984 at VNU where I held various positions in logistics and marketing. I left VNU (publishing company) as Head of Commercial Affairs in 1990 to start my own Direct Marketing agency followed shortly afterwards with a publishing company in Sponsored Media. Two years later both companies were taken over by Rapp Collins and I became the managing director of the Dutch subsidiary of this international operating Direct Marketing network. In 1998 I was appointed as a member of the board of Rapp Collins Europe.
By the end of 2004 I started as managing director of Lost Boys (LBi International), the leading ICT driven web building company, which we successfully transformed into a full service Digital Agency with 160 employees.
I attended the INSEAD AMP programme in februari 2008 and did some advisory- and interim work afterwards. My latest interim job was to prepare the transformation of Ordina/Clockwork towards a full service digital agency. After finishing this assignment successfully I was asked to lead this transformation being the Managing Director of Clockwork.
