  Many injured during medical treatment are faced with uncertainty. Is this injury an unfortunate accident or is there a possible claim for compensation. This company has empanelled a group of medical experts who appraise evidence presented by those who have been injured, their families or attorneys acting on their behalf, to determine whether there is a prima facie case of medical malpractice or medical negligence. The service is offered on a contingency fee basis, i.e. no initial charge is made for the medical report but, if a prima facie case is shown to exist and it is successfully pursued to a conclusion, a percentage of the compensation is payable to the company. For attorneys, this significantly reduces the risk in the decision whether to represent a client. No cash outlay is required from the attorney for the initial medical appraisal of the case. Equally significantly, the company does not charge a referral or any other fee payable in advance for supplying the medical report.
