Main development tools were Visual FoxPro 5/3, MS Access and Clipper 5.2e. Developed and maintained project plans and directed resources in the implementation of third party software applications in the laboratory environment.
Designed, coded, and maintained several lab systems for LabCorp’s CMBP. These lab systems were developed using Visual FoxPro 3.0 and Clipper 5.2e. Major functions of these lab applications were the transfer of data to and from the corporate mainframe computer, data entry and validation, calculating and determining result interpretations, and extensive specialized reporting. Developed a Performance Management and Appraisal System using FoxPro 2.6 for the Computer Information Technologies division of Glaxo. Designed this multi-platform system to operate in both Macintosh and Windows environments.
Designed and coded programs in NATURAL to query and report Personnel and Payroll information from ADABAS files for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Langley, Virginia. Applied ADABAS SQL logic to CICS COBOL and JCL programs through TSO in an IBM MVS environment. Assisted as consultant for projects involving the transporting of data from FoxPro systems to the mainframe system. Developed and maintained a multi-user Maintenance and Material Management system for the Navy in FoxPro 1.02. Participated in the rewrite of program code for the conversions to FoxPro 2.0 and then to FoxPro 2.5. Redesigned a Travel Expense System in FoxPro 2.0 that I had originally developed in Clipper. Created external function libraries in C++ for use by both FoxPro and Clipper applications. Experienced in Novell LAN software and operations.

Developed and coded a series of programs in SPL (UYK 7 Assembler) to aid programmers in the research of application tape builds. This system reduced the amount of time spent on research by over 75%. Analyzed user related problems, determined their solutions, and implemented software modifications as needed. Coordinated system resources within several naval commands to perform required test procedures. Developed several programs to produce management reports to aid in major Supply System decisions. Initiated a background study on the feasibility of using the Honeywell microcomputer to support the Navy’s Supply System.
