I work to bring emerging technologies within reach of nonprofit and community organizations. In short, I write / code / script so they don't have to. My work involves management of a volunteer-based client support system and developing resources for training and support. I also develop and maintain internal infrastructure to support the tools we make available to clients, and implement Drupal-based multisite solutions for our members. I develop content for Grassroots.org resource sites in areas of personal interest and experience, such as search engine optimization and nonprofit content management.

I worked as an Americorps CTCNet VISTA with the Community Technology Centers' Network, Chicago. My responsibilities ranged from grantwriting to event facilitation to developing enterprise-grade websites for nonprofit organizations based on the Drupal CMS platform. I presented as part of a panel on Nonprofit Content Management Systems at the CTCNet national conference in Washington, DC in 2006.

Managed internet marketing campaigns and link development for 200+ clients, primarily in the health insurance and mortgage industries, including Forsythe Financial Health and Fortis / Assurant. Trained interns in basic and advanced search engine optimization techniques. Wrote and distributed press releases, advised content creation teams, and implemented large search engine optimization projects spanning multiple websites and hosting providers.
