Darren Caudle’s Summary

Darren successfully combines a consultancy career with his role as the Director of Studies for the MA HRM and MSc IHRM&D programmes at the University of Gloucestershire Business School, He is passionate about learner led interventions that release individual's potential and add commercial value to their organisations.

His interests focus around the Leadership and Development of people, along with the HR strategies & processes that support this. His particular interest is working with Senior Managers and HR Professionals to develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours that make for great people leadership and development, and ultimately contribute to organisational high-performance.

His areas of expertise include Leadership Development, Management Skills Development and Self-Directed Learning. He has a breadth of experience as a consultant with a variety of organisations in the private sector. He is experienced in the design and facilitation of management development programmes, as well as being a qualified coach. Prior to working in academia, Darren held a variety of senior corporate roles in Line Management, HR Management and People Development.

Darren has extensive experience in using psychometric instruments as a development and assessment tool. He is registered with the BPS, and amongst others, uses the 16PF, Firo-B and both MBTI Step 1 and 2. He is also a trained practioner in the JCA Emotional Intelligence tools, Individual Effectiveness (IE) and Team Effectiveness (TE).
